Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. [6] He serves as the chief executive officer (CEO), of Alphabet Inc.'s subsidiary Google. Born in Madurai, India.[4] Pichai graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a degree in metallurgical engineer. He graduated with an M.S. in the United States after moving to the United States. When he moved to America where he completed an M.S. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University. After a brief time at the management consultancy firm McKinsey and Co., Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he led the product management and innovations for a range of Google's software for clients such as Google Chrome and ChromeOS in addition to being in charge of Google Drive. He also oversees the creation of Google Maps and Gmail. Pichai made public in 2010 that Google had made the open-source video codec VP8 and had also launched WebM an entirely new video format. The Chromebook was released in 2012. In 2013 Pichai included Android to the catalog of Google products that he managed.
