Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actor. Elson started her career as an actress when she was a child, and later as a model. The actress is most famous as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction show. Andrea was chosen to play Lynn Tanner in the popular show ALF beginning in 1986. After many years of appearing on hit shows and movies, she decided to leave the field to raise her family. Andrea Elson's character, Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter, was a difficult one for her. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as a young woman in front of an audience that viewed sitcoms was difficult. In New York City in 1969, Elson grew within the world of travel as her father was a traveling salesman. At 10-years-old, Andrea had already been traveling to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea found her agent she was in San Diego, where she won the very first part that she auditioned. Fusco said that ALF was 285-years-old and was able to drink beer. As ALF gained more popularity with youngsters, NBC told Fusco you can't have him drinking the kids are watching it's a bad role model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF could be a drinker even though he was an adult. The first time he was diagnosed with lymphoma was in 1995. Fusco underwent a successful treatment and went into complete remission through the year 2019. In June of 2019, aged 75, he died of the illness at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood in New Jersey.
