Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. The parents of his son are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st of February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, along with three of his classmates, formed a musical group dubbed White Eskimo. Their outstanding performances allowed them to take home their first Battle of Bands 2009. Even though he's always expressed an interest in the music world, despite his passion for it, he wished to become a lawyer and physical therapist. While working at the city's baker Harry Styles managed to feed his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. Because of this, his band needed to be separated. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that began in the year 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the contenders for the award. However they were 3rd place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive an award, but Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal to One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
